Solevisions Vol. 2 is our second compilation of selected tracks from our Solemusic and Tronicsole catalogue.

It features remixes and productions from some of the world’s finest producers.

Coolys Hot Box are a four piece jazz, funk band from New York City.  They have been touring the Globe with their soulful sound that ranges from a downtempo R+B style to latin influenced 4/4 funk. NYC’s Frankie Feliciano remixed NYC, MAW, King Street, Body & Soul scene.

DJ Spinna needs no introduction to the world of the soulful underground.  “Ladbroke Grove” was the Brooklyn based DJ’s first ever house production.  More famous for his HipHop tracks Spinna opened himself to a whole new world of productions and DJing
Since doing his house track for Solemusic he has mixed an album for King Street moving between raw hiphop beats and deep house music and also produced one of the biggest garage tracks of 2001 with his remix of Shaun Escofferies “Days Like This” . Spinna’s diversity can also be heard in his traditional hiphop style in his remix of Guiro’s “Solevision”.

Romanthony is one of the biggest house producers of the last decade and Wanderer was an end of night classic for many an underground, sweaty house club across the globe.  The ‘Wanderer’ was signed to Solemusic after a bidding battle during the WMC99.

West London cats Bugz in the Attic get to grips with the NYC classic cut “No Time” . The Bugz inject their deep jazzy influence on the garage cut from 1992 and provide a stoned house track that was played by Phil Asher, Patrick Forge, Gilles Peterson and the like.

Guiro’s remix of “You are the Future”  became a house anthem with its hypnotic, trippy hook and distorted vocals.  This track was played live on Radio1 from South Beach, Miami at WMC99.

Overstreet is the project of Julian Bendall and Ian Price who fuse together Latin, jazz, funk and house with timeless songs. Julian Bendall also writes and is production performance musical director for the Bah Samba project on Estereo.
