SoleRevisions is a cd only limited edition album containing remixes of some of our catalogue which have been stripped down and rebuilt by some of our favourite remix engineers.

Joc Max from Kansas City, an up and coming hip hop producer took control of Spinna's beats and Kriminul's vocals to create a deep lounging downtempo mix.

Bugz in the Attic do a MAW style bumping garage remix of this New York classic licensed from Groovin Records USA which was produced by legendary producer Matt Wood.

Belgium duo Swirl People create a deep funky house remix of the broken Afro flavas of Fred Everything’s “One Love”.  This remix hit the deep house contingency and was played by the likes of Derrick Carter, Mark Farrina and Spiller.

Not many can get a sound like the new wave of German producers that over the last five years or so have been the hottest producers and remixers to take soulful songs and garage tracks to the bigger dance floors.  Sounds of Life are no exception to this rule and their remix of Guiros “Free” took the funkier clubs by storm.  Not only highly respected for producing sonically perfect club records, Sounds of Life also engineer for non other than Timo Mass.

The young (ish) prodigy Milton Jackson produces two remixes on this album in his very distinct twisted disco style.  The first remix is that of Copa America which was licensed from Los Vegas records in Germany.  The other remix is a pounding, trippy mix of Todd G’s “it’s the Music”.  This latter remix seen Todd G hit the techy floors and opened Solemusic to a whole new genre of DJ’s.

The massive Basement Jaxx provides a remix in their unique jacking broken beat house style that has seen them project from the underground to cross over chart success.

Solemusic Label manager and Tronicsole A&R, Chris Harris remixed the midtempo disco funk of Michael Ralph’s “Good Vibes” to turn it into a pounding club track for the deeper floors.

Guiro’s remix of “You are the Future” became a house anthem with its hypnotic, trippy hook and distorted vocals.  This track was played live on Radio1 from South Beach, Miami at WMC99.

Todd Gardner has produced tracks for a plethora of labels including Tony Humphries Yellorange, King Street and Erick Morillo’s Subliminal.
