Overstreet is the project of Julian Bendall and Ian Price. Their debut album, ‘Twenty Three’ is a definitive fusion of Latin, jazz, funk and house with timeless songs.
Julian Bendall has been involved in music making for over a decade. As well as being the musical director for Overstreet, he is also writing and production performance musical director for the Bah Samba project on Estereo. He has worked with Roy Ayers, Louie Vega and Timmy Regisford at the Southport Weekender’s as well as toured with Ashley Beedle, Osunlade, & Urubu. He has written for Phil Asher for his Restless Souls project as well as for Kenny Dope’s label. He has also written for Modaji, produced Beleza for Estereo records and remixed the Brand New Heavies ‘Back In Love’ with Graeme Park.
It was at the age of seventeen after being in several bands that Ian Price discovered the saxophone. His guitar was soon replaced and his journey as a musician began. As well as working on the Over Street album Ian is also involved with Bah Samba on Estereo, writing and arranging their horn sections.
Overstreet are no strangers to Solemusic having already had success with past single releases such as ‘Feel So Good’, Sapatos’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Jazz Cigarette’.

The latest single ‘Reasons’ is remixed by Germany’s Ralf Gumm. This has had excellent reviews and featured at No4 in the DJ Hype chart. Richard Earnshaw has remixed the bands next single.

Mark Ralph- producer and guitarist. Works with Brand New Heavies, Natalie Imbruglia, Tom Jones, Atomic Kitten, Gary Numan, Paul Oakenfold and Bah Samba.
Tim Walker - UK's top dub bassist. Works with Bah Samba, Beleza, Carl Cox, Alex Valentine, and Roy Ayers.
Dominic Glover (trumpet) - Musical director for Incognito. Works with Groove Armada, Terry Callier, JTQ and Roy Ayers.
